Live Courses
Group Classes:

Group classes are held in the basement of the Restaurante Centro Gallego, c/ Donoso Cortes, 7 (in front of the "mercado de Ruzafa") en Valencia.

Our group classes are organized by musical abilities, not by instruments. That means musicians that play different instruments but have similar abilities learn together. Mixing instruments from the beginning helps our students develop their musical ear faster and prepares them to start playing in jam sessions and in bands.

Irish Melodies level 2:
Tuesdays 8:00pm to 9:30pm
Staurdays 12:30 - 2:00pm

In this class we will cover a basic repertoire of polkas, jigs, hornpipes and reels. Students learn "by ear"; there is no sheet music.

By the end of the classes, students will have learned several Irish dance melodies, as well as applying some of the typical Irish musical phrases and decorations. They will also have begun to develop their "musical ear", internalize rhythm and learned how to coordinate with other musicians so they can play together.

This class is appropriate for students who can play a few Irish tunes, but haven't yet begun to play with the typical Irish swing and decorations or have some other limited musical experience but can't play an Irish tune from beginning to end without sheet music.
All melody instruments are welcome (fiddle, tenor banjo, mandolin, tin whistle, flute, diatonic accordion, etc...) Students must have their own instruments.

Ages: 14+
Classes in English and Spanish
The course costs 270 euros / semester
Space limited to five students
