"What's the difference between the different course levels?"
LEVEL 1: Melodies played slow and simple. Getting to know your instrument, learning how to open your ears, introduction to ear training.

LEVEL 2: Gaining fluidity on your instrument, graded melodic and rhythmic dictations, melodies played with more Irish phrasing, focusing on learning how to hear and divide melodies into phrases, basic decorations. Beginning to interpret the tune, not just play through it.

LEVEL 3: You already know all the basics of your instrument. Graded rhythmic and melodic dictations are more difficult. Compare and contrast different versions of the same tune, breaking longer phrases down into shorter phrases to add more contrast, tension and release.  Focus on interpretation and decoration. Making your tunes dance, cry and sing.

English
"What's the difference between Normal Pace courses and Pro Track?"

Normal Pace is for students who say to themselves "I want to really learn how to play Irish music" while Pro Track is for students who say to themselves, "I want to really learn how to play Irish music as soon as possible"

Both courses have the same educational approach and cover the same material, but Pro Track students commit themselves to a heavier weekly workload and have more student teacher interaction.

Normal Pace: Classes at a normal pace require approximately 3 hours of work weekly. Students and teachers send / receive feedback once a week for dictations and melody work.

Pro Track: Pro Track courses are for students who are willing to invest more time each week in their Irish music training. These courses require approximately 5 hours of work a week and teachers and students send / receive feedback twice a week about dictations and melody work.
