If you can't hear the different notes in a melody, how can you play it?

Reel Ear is our custom made software which provides a productive environment for ear training based on infinite musical dictations whose variables and levels of difficulty are defined by the user or teacher.

First you set the variables you want to work on, like how many notes and rests it plays, what those notes are and how fast it goes and then Reel Ear generates a random musical phrase based on your choices.

You hear the melody and then sing it or play it back on your instrument. The same melody then repeats and you get another chance to sing/play it correctly or to make adjustments to your first response. After the second time, the program generates a new melody.

Since Reel Ear generates a new random melody based on the musical abilities that you want to practice, you never get bored and you never grow out of it.
